Sometimes, we want to pretend to be someone else that we think is cooler or more exciting.

Just like I wanted to be a surfer because it seemed like a fun and adventurous identity.

But when I actually tried it, I realized it wasn't as easy or enjoyable as I thought.

It's important to remember that wanting to be someone is different from actually being them.
