Redwood Materials has acquired Redux Recycling, a European battery recycler, to accelerate its expansion in Europe.
This acquisition marks Redwood's second purchase since its establishment in 2017 by former Tesla co-founder JB Straubel.
The company plans to integrate Redux's technical staff into its existing European team.
Redwood Materials has been on an expansion and fundraising spree, recently raising over $1 billion in a Series D round.
