A new electric dirt bike, the Talaria MX5 Sting Pro, has caught fire in the US, marking the first documented major battery fire for the brand.
The incident occurred after the rider had only put 20 miles on the bike, with videos showing flames engulfing the vehicle.
Luna Cycle, the main US distributor of Talaria bikes, confirmed the fire and stated that it is the first of its kind reported in the country.
The company is investigating the cause of the fire and has taken steps to replace any Talaria MX5 bikes that were shipped with a battery from a different supplier.
