Tesla’s Cybertruck has a cool feature with power outlets in the bed, but you can’t use them while charging with a normal plug, only with a supercharger.
This is because the car uses a single converter to transform household electricity into the type needed for the battery and the power outlets.
The converter can’t handle both tasks at once, so Tesla’s engineer explained that it’s a limitation of the current system.
However, they’re working on making it possible to use the outlets and charge the car simultaneously in the future.
