Anthony Santander, a switch-hitting outfielder for the Baltimore Orioles, has been on a home run tear this season, setting a new franchise record for home runs by a switch-hitter.
Santander blasted his 36th home run of the year on Tuesday, surpassing the previous record of 35 set by Ken Singleton in 1979.
He's currently among the league leaders in home runs, trailing only Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani.
Santander's success can be attributed to his meticulous preparation, which includes studying opposing pitchers and refining his hitting approach.
