Colombia's military has resumed operations against the ELN rebel group after a ceasefire agreement expired on Saturday.
The ceasefire was not renewed, despite ongoing peace talks between the government and the ELN.
The defense minister stated that offensive operations have resumed, following the expiration of the ceasefire agreement.
The ELN claims the government has not fulfilled its commitments during the peace negotiations, and has requested the removal of the ELN from the official list of armed groups as a condition for renewing the ceasefire.
