The Houston Astros are on the verge of bolstering their pitching staff by acquiring left-handed starter Yusei Kikuchi from the Toronto Blue Jays.
The deal, which is not yet official, would see the Astros send right-hander Jake Bloss to Toronto in exchange for Kikuchi.
Kikuchi has been a subject of trade rumors for the past month and has acknowledged the impact of those rumors on his focus.
