Harvey Weinstein, the disgraced film producer, will face a new trial in New York this November, following the overturning of his rape conviction in April.
The retrial date was set by Judge Curtis Farber, who is open to starting the trial earlier if requested by Weinstein's lawyers.
Prosecutors have announced their intention to file additional charges related to sexual assault based on testimony from new accusers.
Weinstein is currently being held at Rikers Island jail and has been accused of sexual misconduct by over 100 women, playing a key role in the #MeToo movement.
