Arii Irie Architects transformed an aging timber row house in Tokyo's Hatagaya district into a stylish fragrance and botanical shop called LÖUKA.
The architects skillfully incorporated modern elements, such as a curved table and a silver fabric screen, while preserving the building's original character.
They created a seamless transition between the exterior and interior by using the same paint for both, effectively bringing the outside in.
LÖUKA's design blends the old with the new, creating a unique and harmonious shopping experience.
