In the Hatagaya district of Tokyo, a traditional timber row house was revamped into a modern fragrance and botanical shop called LÖUKA.
Arii Irie Architects used creative design elements, like a curved table and a silver fabric screen, to contrast the building's original style.
The architects painted the exterior and interior the same color, blurring the lines between the inside and outside.
LÖUKA's renovation perfectly combines old and new, resulting in a trendy and inviting shopping space.
