Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Wander Franco has been arrested in the Dominican Republic following an altercation involving firearms.
Authorities detained Franco and an unnamed woman after an incident involving guns in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Sunday.
Franco is already facing charges of sexual abuse of a minor and is currently on indefinite administrative leave from MLB.
This latest incident further complicates Franco's legal situation and future with the Rays.
