Many places are trying to stop plastic bags from polluting our beaches and oceans.

If you charge money for plastic bags or ban them, there are fewer bags found on beaches.

This is especially true in areas that already had lots of plastic bags before the rules.

Even though it's great news, we still see more plastic bags overall – so we need to do more!
