Although Apple denies it, reports suggest Foxconn, their manufacturing partner, is upgrading its Brazilian factories.
This circumvents the high tariffs on iPhones made in China, making them more affordable in the American market.
While India and Vietnam are also key to Apple's diversification plan, Brazil's lower tariffs make it a compelling option.
