Rapper Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Devontay Banks, was arrested on October 24th in Florida on charges of murder for hire.
The arrest stems from an indictment alleging that members of his hip-hop group, Only The Family (OTF), were involved in a 2022 murder in Los Angeles.
The indictment claims that a target named "T.B." was intended to be killed due to his involvement in the 2020 killing of someone named "D.B."
While it's unclear if Durk's arrest is directly related to the case, tension between OTF and another group has been high since 2020.
