“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” and “Transformers One” took the top spots at the international box office, outpacing “The Wild Robot” in overseas ticket sales.
“Transformers One” led the way with $16.6 million from 61 international territories, while “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” added a strong $13.6 million from 77 markets.
“The Wild Robot,” which is staggering its foreign rollout, brought in $9.86 million from 29 markets.
Despite a strong start in North America, “The Wild Robot” faced a decline in ticket sales in China, dropping by 74% over the weekend.
