Three US warships were attacked by Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in the Red Sea on Friday.
The warships, which were transiting through a narrow entrance into the Red Sea, successfully defended themselves by shooting down nearly two dozen incoming missiles and drones.
No American sailors were injured, and none of the warships were hit during the attack.
The Houthi rebels have been targeting commercial and military vessels in the region since October 2023, following the massacre in Israel.
