Glasgow will host the 2026 Commonwealth Games after Australia's Victoria withdrew due to rising costs.
The Commonwealth Games Federation has pledged £100 million, and the UK government and Australian authorities have also guaranteed support.
Glasgow previously hosted the Games in 2014, but the 2026 event will be smaller, with fewer venues and sports.
The Scottish government has secured funding to ensure that no public money is needed for the Games' delivery.
