Sally Field, a well-known actress, is in talks to be the lead in Netflix's adaptation of the popular book 'Remarkably Bright Creatures' by Shelby Van Pelt.
The film tells the story of a woman who works at an aquarium and develops an unexpected connection with a giant Pacific octopus.
Field will portray the woman, who forms a unique friendship with the octopus as they work together to unravel a mystery from her past.
The movie is directed by Olivia Newman, known for her work on 'Where the Crawdads Sing', and filming is expected to begin soon.
