San Francisco's only Denny's restaurant, a beloved spot for breakfast and late-night meals, closed its doors at the beginning of August.
The restaurant's owner said the high cost of doing business, including vandalism and customers leaving without paying, made it impossible to continue operating.
The decline in conventions coming to San Francisco also contributed to the closure, as fewer people visited the restaurant.
Denny's confirmed the closure, expressing gratitude to the community and its employees, and reminding everyone about the other Denny's restaurants in the Bay Area.
