The US anime and manga industry received a major announcement as Crunchyroll, a division of Sony, revealed they will be shutting down RightStufAnime.com.
All merchandise and mail order operations from RightStufAnime.com will be transferred to Crunchyroll Store, marking the end of the longtime online retailer.
Right Stuf Anime was acquired by Crunchyroll in 2022, and since then, the site continued to operate, with adult content migrating to BuyAnime.com.
This change will allow Crunchyroll to consolidate its operations and leverage its existing fanbase to reach new customers.
