The Leonid meteor shower, known for its fast, bright meteors, will grace the skies this November.
These meteors originate from the dust trail of comet 55P/Tempel-Tuttle, which can travel at speeds of over 43 miles per second, leaving behind glowing streaks.
While the shower is active from November 6th to 30th, the peak is anticipated on the evening of November 17th or the early hours of November 18th.
To catch this celestial show, find a dark location, lie back, and watch as shooting stars seem to radiate from a point in the sky known as the Leonids.
