An elephant named Mary, living at the Berlin Zoo, has been filmed using a hose to shower herself.
Mary was observed picking up the hose with her trunk and using it to spray water on her body, lasting for about seven minutes.
Interestingly, Mary's showering behavior was influenced by the hose's diameter, preferring a 24-mm hose over a 13-mm.
Researchers are still unsure how Mary learned to use the hose, but they believe elephants might have an innate understanding of how hoses work due to their similar function to their trunks.
