Where Did the UK's First Satellite Go?

Back in 1969, the UK launched their first satellite called Skynet-1A to help communicate with their military.

But instead of staying above the Indian Ocean, it ended up on the other side of the Earth, near America.

It seems someone moved it in the 1970s but nobody knows who or why, making it a real mystery.

This is a problem because Skynet-1A could now crash into other important satellites, so finding a solution to move it is essential.
