A mother is urging all special schools to install CCTV cameras after her autistic son was attacked by a teaching assistant.
The 20-minute assault on her 13-year-old son, Tobie, who is non-speaking, involved kicking, pushing, and holding his head down.
The attack, captured on school security footage, has prompted the mother to advocate for increased security measures in special education settings.
Tobie's attacker, William Kevin Clifford, was sentenced to a suspended nine-month prison term for child cruelty.
