Ronnie Hood, an 11-year-old boy from Suffolk, has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain tumor, known as a diffuse midline glioma.
Despite undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy, Ronnie's tumor, while slightly reduced in size, remains ineligible for an experimental drug treatment, ONC201, on the NHS.
The drug's eligibility criteria require the tumor to be larger than a certain size, and Ronnie's tumor is a mere millimetre too small.
Ronnie's parents are now raising funds to purchase the drug privately, a costly endeavor that could cost upwards of £4,000 a month.
