Sergei Tikhanovsky, husband of Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, has been unexpectedly released from prison after a lengthy detainment.
Along with other political prisoners, he's been moved to Lithuania, reuniting with his wife who lives in exile.
The release followed a visit from US special envoy Keith Kellogg and a meeting with Belarusian President Lukashenko.
While celebrating her husband's freedom, Tikhanovskaya continues advocating the release of over 1150 remaining political prisoners.
