Russian authorities have detained a Ukrainian national suspected of assassinating a high-ranking general via a car bomb explosion.
The FSB, Russia's security service, alleges the suspect, identified as Ignat Kuzi, planted explosives in a Volkswagen Golf.
General Yaroslav Moskalik, deputy head of the General Staff's main operational directorate, perished in the attack outside his home.
Ukraine has yet to officially respond to Russia's accusations regarding this targeted assassination and the subsequent arrest.
