Harry Sidhu, Anaheim's former mayor, received a two-month prison sentence for his involvement in a corrupt stadium deal.
This deal, intended to keep the Angels baseball team in Anaheim, involved sharing confidential information and deleting evidence.
Sidhu pleaded guilty to obstructing a federal investigation, making false statements, and committing tax fraud.
In addition to prison time, he was fined $55,000 and is expected to surrender by early September.
