The NHL is picking hockey players for the Olympics super early, in June and December!
Some kids might get hurt before the games, and they won't be able to play, it's sad.
This happened before at another hockey tournament, and people were not happy then either!
Lots of people think it's silly to pick players so far in advance; they want to wait and see who plays really well.
