Ukraine stopped sending Russian gas to Europe through its special pipes because of a big fight with Russia.
This is because Russia started a war with Ukraine a long time ago, and Ukraine doesn't want to help Russia anymore.
Europe is trying to use less Russian gas anyway, so this is kind of like helping them do that too.
Russia is sad because it doesn't get to sell its gas, and they might not have as much money now.
