Israel's new defense minister, Israel Katz, declared that his country has defeated Hezbollah, the Lebanese terrorist organization.
Katz attributed this victory to the elimination of Hezbollah's leader, Hassan Nasrallah, in an Israeli airstrike on September 27th.
He stressed the need to maintain pressure to solidify this victory and called for an international coalition to capitalize on the opportunity.
Katz also expressed hope that Lebanon would join other countries in normalizing relations with Israel.
