Apple has bought Pixelmator, the company behind the well-known photo editing app Pixelmator Pro for Macs.
This means that Apple now owns Pixelmator, Pixelmator Pro, and Photomator, but they haven't said how much they paid.
Pixelmator says that nothing will change about the apps right away, but they're excited to reach more creative people with their apps now.
After 17 years of success, Pixelmator looks forward to new opportunities and possibilities under Apple's leadership.
