A New Zealand city is trying out a new way to solve traffic congestion with a gondola-like ride-hailing system.
This system, called Whoosh, uses electric motors to move cabins along a network of cables, offering on-demand rides like a modern-day ski lift.
Whoosh aims to be more efficient than cars and buses, using less energy and having a smaller carbon footprint.
If successful, this innovative solution could be adopted by other cities around the world.
