At least 23 people have been killed and over 40 injured in Sudanese capital Khartoum after army air strikes hit a busy market and nearby residential area.
The strikes targeted the main camp of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a paramilitary group engaged in an 18-month civil war with the Sudanese military.
Traders, shoppers, and local residents were among the victims, and hospitals are overwhelmed with injured individuals.
The fighting has escalated around Khartoum, with the military intensifying airstrikes and advancing towards the city from nearby Omdurman.
