The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without two key defensive players, Calijah Kancey and Logan Hall, for their season opener against the Washington Commanders.
Kancey, a first-round draft pick in 2023, suffered a calf injury this week and was ruled out on Saturday.
Hall, a second-round draft pick in 2022, has been dealing with a foot injury and was unable to practice at all this week.
The Buccaneers have elevated two defensive linemen, C.J. Brewer and Mike Greene, from the practice squad to fill the void.
