Scientists are using the Sun to teach them how to find planets around other stars, called exoplanets, by studying its wobble caused by planets in our solar system.
A new instrument called NEID watches the Sun and has shown that it can reduce the noise from the Sun's variability.
This could allow future telescopes to find planets the size of Earth around other stars, making it possible to discover planets that might even have life on them.
By learning more about the Sun, astronomers are getting closer to finding new worlds beyond our own solar system!
