Ford has partnered with a Texas energy provider, TXU Energy, to offer Ford EV owners free at-home charging.
The program provides a credit on energy bills for charging during off-peak hours, from 7 p.m. to 1 p.m. the next day.
This initiative aims to educate Texans about the benefits of owning electric vehicles and encourage charging during periods of low energy demand.
Ford and TXU Energy also offer additional perks, including cash incentives for long-term enrollment.
