Dozens of people have been killed in Israeli air strikes on two schools in Gaza, according to Palestinian rescuers and news outlets.
The strikes, which targeted schools in Gaza City, were the third time in a week that schools have been hit by Israeli forces.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has confirmed the strikes, stating that they targeted Hamas "command and control centers" within the schools.
Palestinian Civil Defence described the attacks as "a massacre", while the IDF maintains that it takes care to minimize risk to civilians during strikes.
