Three people attending the Lightning In A Bottle festival in California have been hospitalized after contracting a dangerous viral fungus.
The festival, which took place earlier this summer, saw approximately 20,000 attendees potentially exposed to the fungus.
According to health officials, the fungus, known as valley fever, is found in soil and dirt and can be fatal in some cases.
The festival organizers are working with health authorities to understand the extent of the outbreak and ensure the safety of future attendees.
