Air New Zealand has become the first big airline to drop its plan to cut emissions by 2030.
They say it's difficult to get new planes and sustainable jet fuel, which are both important to reach their goal.
Delays in their plan to replace their planes have also made it harder to meet the target, as they may have to hang on to their older planes for longer.
While the airline industry wants to have zero emissions by 2050, Air New Zealand is adjusting its plan to be more realistic.
