Apple's highly anticipated AI features, known as Apple Intelligence, are not going to be available with the initial release of iOS 18.
Apple says that Apple Intelligence will be part of iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1, which are expected to be released in October.
The good news is that developers will start testing Apple Intelligence in beta versions of iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 this week.
While Apple plans to finish developing iOS 18 by the end of the month, the newest iPhone 16 will only get all of Apple Intelligence's features with a later update.
