Tesla gives its drivers a Safety Score based on how well they drive. This score is based on things like hard braking and following other cars too closely.
One of the things Tesla's Safety Score considers is late-night driving. Tesla used to consider any driving after 10 PM 'nighttime,' but now it's after 11 PM.
Each hour of driving between 11 PM and 4 AM affects your Safety Score differently, with 2 AM being the most impactful.
Tesla is constantly working to improve its Safety Score system and make its cars safer.
