Amazon Web Services has revealed details of its internal suite of tools called 'MadPot' that are used to detect and prevent cyberattacks.
MadPot is a sophisticated system of monitoring sensors and response capabilities that analyzes threat interactions in real time.
The service has successfully identified and neutralized various cyberthreats, including a distributed denial of service botnet and the activities of the Sandworm threat group.
In the first quarter of this year alone, MadPot stopped 1.3 million bot-driven DDoS attacks.
