American astronaut Dan Pettit concluded a remarkable 220-day mission on the International Space Station, returning to Earth on his 70th birthday.
This mission, his fourth, significantly increased his total time in space to an impressive 590 days, circling Earth a staggering 3,520 times.
The Soyuz MS-26 spacecraft made a successful landing in Kazakhstan, marking a momentous homecoming for Pettit and his fellow cosmonauts.
Following a period of readaptation, Pettit will be heading to Houston for debriefing and other activities, completing his extraordinary milestone.
