A very, very strong storm called Cyclone Chido hit the islands of Mayotte and the country of Mozambique.

Many homes were broken, and sadly, many people got hurt and died because of the strong winds and falling things.

Lots of helpers are trying to find people who are missing and help those who are still alive.

It is a very sad time, but people are working hard to make things better for everyone.
