The latest Android 15 update, QPR1 Beta 2, brings a new battery charging optimization feature for Pixel devices.
This feature, called 'Limit to 80%', restricts the phone's charge to 80%, potentially extending the battery's lifespan.
With this update, Pixel users can choose between 'Adaptive Charging', which pauses charging at 80% and completes it before users typically unplug, and 'Limit to 80%', which charges the phone only to 80%.
This new battery optimization feature is expected to be officially released with the Android 15 QPR1 update in December.
