The city of Lviv in western Ukraine was hit by a devastating airstrike early Wednesday morning, causing significant damage and casualties.
Two people were killed and more than 20 injured, while several residential buildings were set ablaze.
The attack also prompted the closure of two schools, and the entire country was placed under an air alert as air defenses engaged incoming Russian missiles.
This attack comes just a day after a deadly strike in Poltava, where 51 people were killed, highlighting the ongoing threat faced by Ukraine.
