The European Union has postponed its planned retaliatory tariffs against the US, originally scheduled for this Tuesday.
These tariffs, in response to US tariffs on steel and aluminum, were designed to impact $23 billion worth of US goods.
The delay, extended to early August, provides more time for negotiation and a potential resolution to the trade conflict.
The move follows President Trump's threat of even higher tariffs if the EU implements its planned countermeasures.
