President Carter's funeral had lots of important people, like all the presidents still alive, and their wives, but Michelle Obama wasn't there.
Michelle had to do other things far away in Hawaii, so she couldn't go to the special service for President Carter.
Even though she couldn't be there, Michelle and Barack sent a nice message saying how sad they were about President Carter.
It was a big deal because all the living presidents were together, something that hadn't happened since 2018.
