Gary Payton Sr., a legendary NBA player and Hall of Famer, has taken on a new challenge as head coach of the College of Alameda men's basketball team.
He previously coached at Lincoln University in Oakland and led the Big 3 league's Bivouac team to victory, earning him Coach of the Year honors.
The College of Alameda is thrilled to have Payton on board, recognizing his leadership qualities and commitment to player development both on and off the court.
Payton aims to build a strong program, emphasizing both basketball skills and community involvement.
